Dr. Auburn Ellis, E-RYT 500 is a Kansas City-based advocate for holistic health. In 2017 she became a yoga teacher (certified in Kemetic Yoga), and continued to study other styles to become an expert trainer. She currently designs lectures for studios, including Corepower Yoga and True Love Yoga. These lectures focus on how to support inclusive environments. She is also the founder of Soul Yoga Fest KC, which is in its fourth year and welcomed over 300 attendees, vendors, and offered ten free community classes for all ages and abilities. Dr. Auburn also hosts many unique events, including Immersive Yoga at the Van Gogh Exhibition and Yoga on the Vine. Kansas City Star Interview:

Dr. Auburn is currently teaching in the Yoga in the Park KC lineup at Nelson Atkins Museum South Lawn, offering free community classes on Sundays at 10:15 AM. She will also be teaching pop-up classes at Corepower Yoga in September and October.

SOUL YOGA FEST KANSAS CIT

We are pleased to announce the 4th Annual Soul Yoga Fest in Kansas City, Missouri! This event will take place Sunday June 8th, 2024 from 10a-3p at Davis Ilus Park in beautiful downtown Kansas City.

We aim to make health and wellness more accessible for underrepresented groups by offering free, beginner friendly classes for all ages and levels. We will also feature local vendors with healthy foods, and amazing services! Soul Yoga Fest started in Chicago, and then became a global movement. SYF is held in Vegas, Atlanta, Paris and even Ghana. This is a festival that welcomes all body types, and lovers of plant-based foods. Join the holistic health movement as it spreads across the globe!
